The Baltimore Funk Foundation is a music collective founded by Parliament-Funkadelic musicians Bennie "The General" Cowan and Benjamin "Benzel Baltimore" Cowan, dedicated to preserving and advancing the legacy of classic funk music. Through live performances, recordings, and collaborations with P-Funk alumni and emerging artists, the foundation sustains the cultural and musical traditions of the Parliament-Funkadelic lineage.

Inaugural P-Funk Festival

The Baltimore Funk Foundation will be performaing at the inaugural P-Funk Festival, This one-day outdoor music event will be taking place April 11, 2026 in Tallahassee, Florida, headlined by George Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic. This festival is a historic cultural celebration honoring Clinton's 85th birthday and the legacy of the P-Funk musical movement. THe Baltimore Funk Foundation is happy to be highlighted during the full-day concert and a multigenerational gathering of fans and artists connected to the funk genre.
